Operating Within Natural Processes

If God or an intelligent designer operates within natural processes, why couldn't he/she/it operate through chance or evolutionary processes? That is to say, why couldn't God or an intelligent designer have designed evolutionary processes or chance statistical processes to produce what we see --- intelligent beings and complex adaptations, for instance?

If you think that evolution and chance processes are compatible with God or Intelligent Design, then we are in agreement. But of course, could the fact that there are intelligent beings and complex adaptations be construed as evidence that they were designed to be that way?

If you see no reason that God or an intelligent designer couldn't operate through evolution or chance processes, and you do not think that the empirical world can provide proof of the existence of God or an intelligent designer go to Why Not Through Evolution Or Chance?.

If you believe that the fact that the physical constants are finely tuned to produce intelligent life and that this fact may be proof of the existence of an intelligent designer or a creator God, go to Construing Evidence In Favor of Fine Tuning.

If you believe that god operates within natural processes, but does not operate through evolution go to No Evolution.
