- Evolution is not a fact, it is only a theory
- The mechanics of Evolution Theory, genetic variation and natural selection, are well-confirmed enough to be facts. It is hard to grant the existence of these and not to grant that theory which is the logical and mathematical consequence of them is also well-confirmed. Still, it is possible for Evolution Theory to be wrong, but any new theory which would replace it would still have to account for the fact of genetic variation and natural selection.
